I’m an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and Counsellor, and the founder of Beyond Purpose Therapy.

 

I support adults who are capable, responsible, and often the strong one for everyone else, but who are quietly carrying burnout, emotional exhaustion, ADHD-related overwhelm, or long-standing stress patterns.

 

My approach is trauma-informed and integrative, but most importantly, it’s paced with care.

 

I prioritise emotional safety, nervous system regulation, and support that feels steady and manageable, not intense or overwhelming.

 

Therapy with me isn’t about pushing harder.

 

It’s about helping your system feel safe enough to soften.

A supportive, evidence-informed approach for adults experiencing burnout, overwhelm, dysregulation, or long-standing stress responses, with a focus on safety, regulation, and working at a manageable pace.

Therapy for adults who appear capable on the outside yet feel exhausted, disconnected, or depleted internally, often shaped by chronic stress, perfectionism, and prolonged “go-mode” functioning.

ADHD & Neurodivergent Support

Trauma-informed support for adults with ADHD or neurodivergence, including late-identified individuals, focused on regulation, self-understanding, and recovery from long-term overwhelm or masking.

EMDR & Integrative Approaches

An integrative, trauma-informed use of EMDR alongside schema and somatic approaches. This service supports the gentle processing of distressing or unresolved experiences, with careful attention to safety, readiness, and nervous system capacity.

A gentle way to understand the patterns keeping you in survival mode.

Burnout doesn’t begin with doing too much, it begins when your system no longer feels safe enough to rest.

 

This short check-in helps you understand where your survival load is being carried  (in the mind, body, or heart) and what your system may be asking for right now.

 

There’s no diagnosis, no fixing, and no pressure to change anything.

Just awareness, clarity, and a place to begin gently.
